Each block and appliqué, birds, envelopes, hearts, and postage marks, captures the simple, powerful act of correspondence that kept hearts close despite the distance. Each block is inspired by stories in Mom and Dads' letters and is included on the pattern instructions.
Skill builder--accurate 1/4" seams, QST, HST, flying geese, stitch and flip corners, raw edge fusible applique and foundation paper piecing.
Individual months packaged in air mail envelopes inside pattern to complete the mail call theme.
